Sun and dust are the two things that age curtains in Doha homes. A lining protects the face fabric from the sun, so lined curtains keep their colour far longer than unlined ones. Fine dust settles in the folds and dulls the fabric over time.
Vacuum curtains once a month with a soft brush, from top to bottom. Shake sheers out gently. Wash or dry-clean only as the label says, and ask us first about lined curtains, as some linings shrink.

How long does it take to make and fit curtains?

Do you come to my home to measure?
Yes. We come to your home or office anywhere in Doha to measure your windows properly, because made-to-measure curtains are only as good as the measurements behind them. What should I do before you come to measure?
Clear the space in front of each window so we can reach the frame and the ceiling and measure for made-to-measure curtains accurately. Leave any old curtains or tracks in place, because we check whether the brackets can be reused. It also helps to decide which rooms need blackout and which need sheer.
How do I keep curtains clean in Qatar's dust?
