About Us: Our Story
Al Abdali Curtain Furniture opened its shop in Al Mansoura on 5 February 2016. Since then our team has measured, made and fitted curtains, blinds and upholstery for villas, apartments, majlis rooms and offices across Doha.
We keep the whole job in one place. The team that measures your windows also sews and fits the curtains, and the same shop re-covers your sofa or majlis seating. Your fabrics and colours are chosen together, not by four different shops.
Our shop is about 500 metres from Al Mansoura Metro Station and open every day from 9 AM to 10 PM. Come in, feel the fabrics and talk to the people who will make them.
We started with a simple idea: curtains and upholstery should be made for the home they go into. Windows in Doha villas and towers rarely match standard sizes, majlis rooms need seating made to the length of the walls, and the strong sun and fine dust here are hard on fabric. Made-to-measure work, done carefully by one team, is the best answer to all of those, and it is still what we do every day.
Over the years our work has grown from curtains into a full range of soft furnishings and interior finishing. Today Al Abdali Curtain Furniture makes custom curtains and sheers, supplies and fits blinds, re-covers and repairs sofas, majlis seating and recliners, builds custom sofas, beds and headboards, and fits carpet, wood flooring, wallpaper and wall panels. Customers often start with one room and come back for the rest of the house, because it is easier when one shop knows your home.
What has not changed is how we work. We measure in person, we explain options in plain words, we give one clear price before anything is cut, and we fit every job ourselves. When something is not worth doing, such as re-covering a sofa with a broken particle-board frame, we say so. How we work, step by step. Almost every job starts the same way. You send a photo on WhatsApp or call us, and we reply with first ideas and a price range. We then visit to measure, bring samples and talk through the options, or you visit our shop. You get one clear quote, and once you approve it, the work is made in our Al Mansoura workshop and fitted by our own team. At the end, we check everything with you before we leave. It is a simple process, and keeping it in one team is what keeps the quality consistent.
Our workshop. Curtains are cut and sewn in our own workshop, with hems weighted and folds set so they hang evenly. Sofas and majlis seating are stripped, repaired and re-covered on the same premises, with frames, springs and foam checked before any new fabric goes on. Because the work happens close to the shop, you can see it in progress and talk to the people doing it, and small changes can be made quickly.
Our team. Our team includes measurers and fitters who visit homes and offices across Doha, tailors who cut and sew curtains, and upholsterers who rebuild and re-cover furniture in the workshop. Fabrics and materials. We keep a wide range of curtain fabrics, sheers, blackout and thermal linings, upholstery fabrics, leather and leatherette, blind fabrics, carpet and flooring samples. We help you choose materials that suit Qatar’s climate: fabrics that resist fading in strong sun, linings that protect them, foam that keeps its shape in heat and finishes that are easy to keep clean in a dusty city.
Working with interior designers. Interior designers and fit-out teams working on homes and offices in Doha are welcome to contact us about curtains, upholstery and soft furnishings for their projects. Send the drawings or specification and we will tell you how we can help, then measure, make and fit with the same care we give every customer.
Large and small jobs. No job is too small. We are happy to shorten a pair of curtains, replace a broken track, re-foam a single cushion or fit one blind, just as we are happy to furnish a whole villa. Small jobs are often how long relationships with our customers begin, and they get the same care and the same clear pricing as large ones.
Sustainability matters to us too. Re-covering and repairing good furniture instead of throwing it away saves money and waste, and well-made, lined curtains last far longer than cheap ready-made panels. We would rather help you keep a solid sofa or majlis for another ten years than sell you something new you do not need.

What We Make and Fit
Measured at your home, sewn to size and fitted, with blackout, thermal or sheer options. Measuring is free anywhere in Doha, and most curtain orders are made and fitted within 2–3 days after the quote is approved. Visit our curtain shop doha page for fabrics, headings and linings.

Motorised curtains
Motorised tracks for tall glass, with remote or app control, ideal for tower apartments and double-height villa windows where pulling curtains by hand is awkward.
Beyond these four core services, our team covers the rest of the room so you can plan a whole home with one shop. Many customers combine services: new curtains with a re-covered sofa, blinds in the kitchen and curtains in the living room, or carpet and wallpaper in a bedroom alongside a new upholstered headboard. We come to you
We measure and fit in your home or office anywhere in Doha, and bring fabric and lining samples so you can choose in your own light. Outer areas such as Al Khor, Al Wakrah and Umm Salal are confirmed with your address before we book.
Fast when it matters
One wedding-room order was made and delivered in 2 days, and most curtain orders are made and fitted within 2–3 days after the quote is approved. Tell us your date when you message, and we plan the job around it.
Honest advice
If repairing your sofa makes more sense than replacing it, we tell you so. If a cheaper fabric will do the job just as well, we tell you that too. Our customers come back because they trust our advice, not because we pushed the most expensive option.

Prefer not to visit? Most of our customers never need to. Send photos and rough sizes on WhatsApp, and we can suggest fabrics, send pictures of samples and book a home visit where we bring the samples to you. Many jobs are planned entirely through WhatsApp messages and one measuring visit.
