Our curtain and upholstery services, Doha-wide, all come from one team: Al Abdali Curtain Furniture has served homes and offices in Doha since 2016. We measure, make and fit custom curtains and blinds, re-cover and repair furniture, install flooring and wallpaper, and build cabinets — all from our Al Mansoura workshop.

Areas we serve. Our team works across Doha every day, from the neighbourhoods around our shop, such as Najma, Fereej Bin Durham and Old Airport, to central areas like Al Sadd, Msheireb and West Bay, and the towers of Lusail and The Pearl. We also serve villas in Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal, Al Thumama and Al Khor, confirming visit arrangements for outer areas with your address.
Who we work with. Our curtain and upholstery services are used by families furnishing new villas, couples preparing a home before a wedding, tenants refreshing a rented apartment, landlords preparing units for new tenants and businesses fitting out offices, shops and reception areas. Each has different needs and budgets, and we adapt our suggestions to each one, from simple, durable choices to complete room makeovers.
Curtains
Custom curtains measured, cut and sewn for your windows, then fitted at your home or office anywhere in Doha. Measuring is free anywhere in Doha, and most curtain orders are made and fitted within 2–3 days after the quote is approved. Choose from curtain fabrics, sheers, blackout and thermal linings, and headings such as wave, pinch pleat and eyelet, all made in our own workshop.
Curtains are the heart of our business and the service most customers start with. Over the years we have made curtains for villa majlis rooms with long walls of windows, tower apartments with floor-to-ceiling glass, children’s bedrooms that need darkness for naps and offices that need a neat, uniform look across many windows.
Homes in Qatar need curtains that cope with strong sun, high ceilings and wide windows, and that give privacy at night without losing daylight in the day. That usually means a layered setup: a sheer for daytime and a lined or blackout curtain for evenings and sleep. We plan the right combination for each room, from a formal villa majlis to a compact apartment bedroom, and fit everything on tracks or rods chosen for the weight of the fabric.

We make curtains to your exact window measurements and fix them at your property — homes, villas and offices across Doha. Every curtain is cut for its window, so it reaches the floor, covers the glass edge to edge and hangs in even folds. We also fit new tracks and rods, and refit or alter curtains you already own.
Blackout-lined curtains that block light almost completely — ideal for bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms. A lining also protects the face fabric from Qatar’s strong sun and helps keep rooms cooler in the afternoon, which is why most bedroom curtains we make are lined.
Lightweight sheer curtains that diffuse sunlight while preserving privacy — fitted alone or behind lined curtains. Sheers are the most popular choice for living rooms and sea-view apartments, because they soften glare while keeping the view and the daylight.
Ripple-fold wave curtains on a ceiling track — a contemporary, hotel-style finish for villas and apartments. Wave headings give even, S-shaped folds and stack neatly at the sides, which suits tall glass in Lusail, The Pearl and West Bay towers. Motorised tracks are available for very wide or tall windows.
Blinds
Roller, zebra, vertical, roman, venetian and wooden blinds measured, made and installed across Doha. Manual chain controls are standard, and motorised options suit tall tower windows and hard-to-reach openings. Blinds suit kitchens, bathrooms, studies and offices, where they stay clear of worktops and desks and wipe clean easily, and they pair well with curtains in bedrooms. Every blind is cut to its window and fitted by our own team.
Choosing between blinds and curtains is easier when you think about how each room is used. Bedrooms need darkness, so blackout roller or roman blinds work well, often with a curtain in front. Living rooms benefit from zebra or sunscreen blinds that cut glare but keep the view. Kitchens and bathrooms suit wipeable vertical or venetian blinds. Offices usually standardise on one roller or vertical blind across every window. We can mix types across your home and keep colours consistent so the windows look coordinated from outside.
Fabric roller blinds in blackout, sunscreen or light-filtering grades, made to size and installed inside or outside the recess. Roller blinds are the simplest and most popular blinds in Doha homes and offices: quick to fit, easy to use and available in fabrics for every room.
Vertical-slat blinds for wide windows and sliding doors — wipe-clean vanes available for kitchens and offices. The vanes tilt to control glare on screens and draw fully to one side, which makes them a practical choice for patio doors and long office windows.
Aluminium venetian and real-wood slat blinds for precise light control — available in various slat widths and finishes. Venetian blinds suit kitchens, bathrooms and studies, and the slats can be tilted to keep privacy while letting daylight in.
Upholstery
We re-cover sofas, majlis seating, recliners and dining chairs, and repair frames, springs and mechanisms — at our workshop or at your home. Upholstery is also where honest advice matters most. A sofa with a solid hardwood frame is usually worth re-covering, even if it looks tired, while a cheap flat-pack sofa with a cracked particle-board frame often is not. We look at what is inside before we quote and tell you plainly which option gives the best value.
Doha is hard on furniture. Heat speeds up how foam breaks down, sun through large windows fades fabric, and all-day air conditioning dries out leather and timber. Our upholstery team rebuilds what has worn out: snapped springs and stretched webbing are replaced, flat foam is renewed, loose joints are re-glued and strengthened, and covers are replaced in fabric or leather chosen for the room. Many solid sofas and majlis sets are worth keeping, and re-covering them often costs much less than buying the same quality new.

Upholstered headboards and bed bases made to your mattress size, in fabric or faux leather, with buttoned, channelled or plain finishes. Storage beds and children’s beds are available too, and headboard fabric can be chosen with your bedroom curtains.
Flooring & Wall Finishing
Supply and installation of carpet, wood flooring, vinyl and SPC, wallpaper and wall panels — coordinated with your curtains and upholstery from one workshop. Every floor is fitted on a prepared base with the right underlay and finished with skirting or trims, and every wallpaper is hung with matched patterns and clean joins. Floors and walls set the background for every room, so they work best when they are chosen with the curtains and furniture. A light oak floor with neutral sheers and a grey sofa feels calm and bright; a patterned carpet with rich majlis seating and lined curtains feels warm and formal. Because we handle all of these, you can see the samples together at our shop and plan a room that looks complete. For offices, we fit hard-wearing carpet tiles and vinyl that are easy to maintain and replace section by section.
Carpet suits bedrooms and majlis rooms where comfort and quiet matter most. Wall-to-wall carpet and carpet tiles for living rooms, bedrooms, majlis rooms and offices — supplied and professionally stretch-fitted over underlay across Doha, so the carpet lies flat and stays flat.

Furniture & Cabinet Installation

Made-to-size furniture solves problems that showroom pieces cannot: an L-shaped sofa that fits an awkward corner, a majlis that runs the full length of the room, a wardrobe that reaches a high ceiling or a TV unit that fills a long wall. Every piece is planned around your room, including the doors and lifts it has to pass through, and built or installed by our own team so the finish matches the rest of our work.

How our services work. Every job follows the same simple steps. First, you send a photo or call us, and we reply with ideas and a price range. Next, we measure at your home or office, or you visit the shop to see samples. Then you receive one clear quote in QAR, with each item listed, along with the fabric names and sizes so you can compare options at home. Once you approve it, the work is made in our Al Mansoura workshop and fitted by our own team, and we check everything with you before we leave. The same steps apply whether you need one blind or a whole villa.
Fabrics and samples. Our Al Mansoura shop holds curtain fabrics, sheers, linings, upholstery fabrics, leather, blind fabrics, carpet, flooring and wallpaper samples, so you can compare them side by side and take samples home. We help you choose materials that suit Qatar’s sun, dust and air conditioning, and explain how each one should be cleaned.
Why one workshop matters. When curtains, upholstery, blinds and flooring come from different suppliers, colours clash, fitting dates drift and nobody is responsible for the finished room. With one workshop, the people who measure also make and fit, fabrics are chosen together and you have one number to call for everything.
Many customers combine our curtain and upholstery services in one project: new curtains and a re-covered sofa for the living room, blinds for the kitchen, blackout curtains and an upholstered headboard for the bedroom, or a full majlis with seating, curtains and carpet. Planning them together keeps fabrics and colours consistent and means one measuring visit, one quote and one fitting team.
Pricing. We do not publish fixed prices, because every window, sofa and room is different. Instead, you get a clear price range from your photos, then one exact quote after measuring, with nothing cut or ordered until you approve it. Each item is listed separately, so you can see where the cost comes from and decide what to do now and what can wait. If the total is more than you planned, we will suggest practical ways to save, such as a simpler fabric for secondary rooms or re-covering instead of replacing.
After the job. We give care advice for everything we make and fit, and if anything needs adjusting after we leave, call us and we will put it right. Keep your quote, which lists your sizes and fabrics, so matching items can be added later.
